Anita, one of my best friends, is now living in celibacy. She's not had sex in a year today. Since she doesn't have a blog to celebrate herself, I figured that I'd celebrate her. She's a Christian now and is unmarried.
Well, I'm not exactly a Christian, though I do believe. Yesterday, she and I discussed Christ for a bit and she was singing the praises of being single and celibate. I can't personally imagine it, but she does it with a smile on her face. But, with the issues women have when rushing from relationship to relationship, maybe celibacy isn't so bad.
How do you feel about it? I'd love to know, from a non-Christian perspective mainly, but both are welcome.
