Well, after analyzing my sister's Facebook pages and profile, I decided it is definitely worth the fuss, though could the network be any uglier? I don't like the dull colors, frankly, but that doesn't detract from the value of the network. My sister has been on Facebook for a bit over four months and has eight paying clients thanks to them. That's no small feat in today's competitive online world of virtual assistants.
So, Facebook is a definite must have for you female marketers out there.

Social media is changing the name of the game. It used to be radio and television commercials. Now, social media like Facebook and Myspace are holding their own and actually coming out ahead. And, with this change, women are shining.
Traditionally, media has always been thought as a man's domain. However, online media is quickly leveling the playing field and more women are completing their marketing degrees and starting lucrative careers in the field of social media alone.
