Made My Vote, Hope it Counts

After much agonizing, I voted on behalf of John McCain and Sarah Palin. I cannot in good conscience try to put someone in office who hasn't been in government very long. However, I'm proud that a black man is going as far as this one is going. I came from a family of slave owners, so in some ways, it would be a sign of redemption for this country to elect a black man or woman. However, when that time comes, I hope it will be someone with a bit more experience.
